About Me

Hi! I’m Eric Suni, a freelance writer and editor with a proven track record in health and science writing, B2B content creation, and both substantive and stylistic editing.

I spent more than seven years working for the National Cancer Institute’s Cancer Information Service (CIS), a nationwide program that provides tailored responses to questions from cancer patients, caregivers, health professionals, and the general public. As an Information Specialist and Science Writer for CIS, every day I saw how big of an impact it can make to provide clear, evidence-based, and actionable health education in an empathetic way.

In 2017, I decided to take what I learned at CIS and seek out new challenges as a freelance writer and editor. Since then I’ve produced hundreds of physician-reviewed articles about medical topics like sleep health and diagnostic testing. I’ve also expanded into new subject matter, creating diverse B2B content for technology companies on topics ranging from cybersecurity to AI-based FinTech software to web3 use cases.

My Values

I’m interested in building lasting relationships with clients that put core values into action.

  • Honest communication
  • Active listening
  • Building content on a foundation of rigorous research
  • Meeting readers where they are by making content engaging and accessible
  • Delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Collaborating and giving credit where it’s due
  • Inviting and incorporating feedback
  • Striving to always be learning and improving

How I Work

I tailor my work to suit my clients. Before starting any new project, I want to understand what a client needs and what success looks like. From there, we can work together to create a concrete content plan with specific timelines for each deliverable.
